- Website design (or re-design) and development, which includes:

- using the latest web standards
- optimizing your website for higher placement in search engines
- editing your content to be sure it comes across well

- online database; I generally use MySQL and PHP.
A database is probably what you want if you have many items to display and would like to be able to update them yourself. - domain name and hosting assistance
- website optimization, or SEO (making your website appear higher in search engines such as Google), and search engine submission
- hosting with Sites and Beyond if desired
- e-commerce / on-line credit card processing (PayPal, Google Checkout, etc.)
- forms that can be submitted on your website to send you an email
- custom graphics ( I usually subcontract out Flash if you want that, unless it's something pretty basic.)
- sound and/or video
- website maintenance
- teaching you to make or maintain your own website
You'll get an initial one-hour free consultation to discuss your goals for a website and how we'll work together. If you have some examples of websites that you like, both for content and design, please show me what you like about them. I will incorporate the features you like as much as possible into your website, depending on your budget.
I'll stay in close communication with you throughout the process of building your website to make sure that you are happy with the results. I usually put your pages on my testing server until you're ready to go "live" with them using your own domain name and your hosting service.
